CureCervicalCancer (CCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to stopping cervical cancer before it starts by detecting and treating pre-cancer. CCC has established 100 sustainable screening/treatment clinics in 9 different countries, which have screened over 140,000 women. By using low-tech resources in a single visit, CCC screenings spot pre-cancerous lesions and treat them immediately.
Cervical cancer is nearly 100% preventable with early detection and treatment, yet it claims a woman's life every two minutes. A disproportionate 90% of these deaths occur in resource-poor countries that lack access to basic screening and treatment services.
